Vibrating Tumbler

I'll send pics of all the parts (and mistakes made) as work progresses. I could have bought another Harbor Freight machine that was 120v but the  lid leaked many times and threw compound over everything in the shed. This one is slightly smaller and the motor is 12v dc which allows me to control the speed of the vibrations. I'll send a link to a video when it's done. If this works and you want the stl and cad files let me know. The drum which is pictured below took 26 hrs to print with pla @ .20 quality. Drum is 6" across and aprox 4" tall. Not really for large parts but will be great for deburring small printed parts.

RE:

These are the spring couplers and wobble head for the motor. 3/4" springs are shown but I opted for 3" x 1/2" springs to allow for more flexing

for the vibration. Note that the coupler caps have a recess for a 1/4x20 bolt. These get bolted through the motor mount (still printing) into the bottom of the bowl. The center of the bowl will have a 1/4x20 threaded rod in it to secure the cover. All the threads are printed in the model but because they are a nominal size have to be cleaned out with a tap.

RE:

Got the motor mount done. This was the 1st mistake. The 1st mount had the motor laying horizontal which would have generated a front to back vibration movement. I needed circular so the motor had to sit vertical as shown. This required a longer spring (3") to allow for clearance on the wobble weight. The rendered image is the motor mount in cad.

@skipper_52 YouTube video link doesn't work.
Could it be it's referencing a video that can only be viewed with your credentials ?

Otherwise, great work !!!
