This is by far the most ambitious print I've done.
Overture matte green PLA
Overture chocolate brown PLA
Do3d silk orange PLA
Paramount3d black PLA
Verbatim BVOH
Over 1kg of total filament used. With a few manual interventions it was over 100h

yeah it did for sure. I'm anxious to try it out with organic supports. The size of the purge tower was super super crazy though, it was HEAVY.

I was inspired by this print and had to do it on the 5 extruder XL before Halloween.
68 hours, 962 changes. Two stops for crash detection (easily corrected). Just about 12 inches tall (could have gone a little bigger).
Black, Silk orange, silk coffee gold and polymaker dark green. Dry the material.

I didn't see any soluble support filament in your list. did you not use soluble supports? that looks pretty good for break away supports! I'm hoping if my XL ever arrives to probably do a lot more prints with soluble supports.

Soluble supports would have been a good idea. This had snug supports. They worked well. Just a bit of pain to remove.

I sacrificed an extra color I was going to use to do the BVOH, and just dropping the thing in the sink in warm water to break off most of the supports was nice lol

I've found it's cheapest to just order it from prusa, which is pretty crazy. I have this pool of aquasys 120 I want to try once I get the XL. It would NEVER work in the mmu. I did manage to print an xyz calibration cube though it haha. it prints at roughly the same temp as petg, vs the 195 that the MMU lowers it to in order to shape the tips.
