Flight Sim Rudder pedals with toe breaks.
I've been wanting rudder pedals for using with flight sims for a while, but they are kind of overpriced for what is inside them. Also all flight sim controllers are out of stock everywhere since MSFS2020 came out.
The throttle controller I have has an RJ12 connector for that company's pedals, all that I needed to do was build something that could rotate 3 potentiometers. Got some aluminum extrusions, and many hours of CAD work and printing have gotten me this far:
It's all mounted on an old cabinet door. There's a "scratch and dent" furniture place near me and there was a good deal on a TV console that looked great except for the cabinet doors, so I just took them off since I was going to put electronics in there.
This is how I'm coupling the tilt of the bar between the pedals into rotation on the potentiometer:
Got about 11 hours more printing to get the parts for the toe breaks on the other side done, then on to the wiring.
