Is Superslicer buggy?
Hi, is Superslicer better than PrusaSlicer? I made two prints using Superslicer 2.2.0. One was made using ironing (both top and bottom) and the other was made with rectilinear at the top and bottom as default. Both bottoms looked ugly even I used the smooth sheet. Is it because of bug?
Another issue is that using the same model, I have no problem with curling when printing from PrusaSlicer 2.2.0 but all models printed using Superslicer 2.2.0 have curling issue. What could be the reason?
Gave up on PrusaSlicer 2.3.0 alpha3 as it got some bugs.
Is the version of SuperSlicer based on the same version of PrusaSlicer? For example is SuperSlicer 2.2.0 based on PrusaSlicer 2.2.0 while SuperSlicer 2.3.0 beta version is based on PrusaSlicer 2.3.0 alpha?
RE: Is Superslicer buggy?
It has more features and customizability. My reservations are based on the fact that it's largely based on tweaks to the PrusaSlicer code base that aren't as vetted as the main release. It will also lag behind somewhat. I use SuperSlicer for the odd specific feature as needed.

RE: Is Superslicer buggy?
Thanks. I have the same kind of problem in the following thread.
The default for Infill/perimeter Overlay is 25%. I changed it to 50% but there is no improvement. 2.2.3 alpha3 can do it nicely with ironing but it has other bugs to make it unusable for me. Tried Cura but for strange reason, even I have the parameter values matched between PrusaSlicer and Cura, the support are very very difficult to remove. What suggestions do you have?
