Great post!
Poorly written bots are fun once you figure out what is going on, at least until they get stuck in the inevitable loop. It'll be singing Daisy next, and we know how that ends. I'm going to suggest to Prusa that a captcha be added to any dormant accounts to cut down on this sort of spam.

Sigh...you really are unable to admit when you are wrong. Mature people admit their failings, you do not.

[...] I am impressed that you figured out that it was a spam bot or troll bot.
It's been an interesting exercise. So far as I can determine, there are several software components:
- Seeding. The engine is fed an initial position and a shortlist of keywords identifying discussions likely to relate to the topic.
- A Dunning-Krueger engine: Assume a position of absolute expertise, double-down, then do it again. Deflect or misdirect any information to the contrary (see below). This component will build a dictionary of "wins" in the form of short responses.
- An eisegesis engine: Scour the web for documents that either support the assumption or can be misinterpreted to do so. Close is good enough. This component will build a list of "supporting" links that can be cited, ofuscated, or misquoted in a way supporting the "wins" generated by the Dunning-Krueger engine.
- A projection engine: Build a list of challenges, ignored until now, and reverse them as challenges to others. When stuck for a response, revert to this engine.
By following this script relentlessly, the results can -- at least initially -- seem to represent an intelligent being. God help us if these comments were generated by an actual human!
Looking back, the clue is on page 2 of this thread. The bot spent a lot of time on the "64% immunity in school children" topic and posted a link to this gem of an article. That was an early "win" for the eisegesis engine. Looks convincing enough and says all the right things (see eisegesis engine, above). The facade begins to crumble when you investigate a little further and run into the About Us page for the linked site. I was wondering why "64% immunity" was so hard to find. It's because no authoritative source ever even remotely suggested such a thing! Only this sketchy website with the misleading name ever projected the presence of antibodies reducing susceptibility into full-fledged immunity. Of course, the bot doesn't dig far for context.
Now there is a remote possibility that I'm wrong and this isn't a bot. However, it's pretty clear that the level of actual comprehension is about the same in any case. I would suggest that any further interaction with The Entity be limited to testing responses with no expectation of actual engagement.

Now I don't really want to get involved in this, but I simply had to respond to that last post bobstro

If I didn't know better I could swear that was from an old episode of Star Trek 😉
Tank you very much!

I think it was a quote from an encounter with the Grob in which the victim is assimilated and all of their intelligence is discarded and their idiocy shared with the Evih mind. Not 100% sure though.

I am interested in how you and Bob came to fall in love. I am happy for the two of you. You are both pretty woke and have the same self entitled mindset.
I think you both have a good anyone future together. Nice to see a newly made and happy couple. <3

I am sorry you were a victim, though it appears they did not have to discard much.

This is the projection engine kicking in. In the absence of recognizable keyword, it starts throwing out a series of canned responses in an attempt to get the conversation back into familiar territory.
I'm sure at this point it is desperately parsing responses looking for hit button topics to latch onto. Best to starve it out.
It's a sure sign that the bot is nearing the limits of it's capability. Expect to see a lot of thrashing going forward.
