The rapid spread of COVID-19 has put many healthcare providers under great strain as they provide treatment and care to affected patients. 3D Systems is offering its services, and we’re looking for our customers and partners to join us in sharing resources to help overcome this pandemic. It’s in these times that we see selflessness at its finest as people come forward to help one another in time of great need.
Where are you located? In my area (NE US), nobody wants 3D printed PPE any more. There were a number of groups coordinating efforts back in early 2020. I worked with Masks for Docs. You can check there to see if there is still any activity in your area. There might be groups gathering PPE for shipment elsewhere in the world, but my understanding is that there is plenty of approved PPE available now. Mask requirements are being lifted in many areas.
Edit: Just checked and the last Facebook post from Masks for Docs was Sept. 2020. They were shipping approved N95 masks to farm workers at the time.
