prusaslicer output multiple boundary preview is broken
This is a crosspost about a bug in prusaslicer;
To quote:
v2.9.2 - all good except the platter view no longer shows the additional clearance boundary around objects for arrangement when the "complete individual objects" output option is enabled.
This is very very inconvenient.
For anyone unaware - previously with this option enabled, when you clicked to drag any object, all objects showed an additional clearance boundary which would block slicing if there was overlap as a precaution. The problem is this boundary is no longer being rendered, so it's guesswork when manually arranging objects.
Cheers.

Crossposted because it did not get any attention and was possibly in the wrong forum, and should have been here in bugs.
The best place to post bug reports is Prusa's Github.
Cheerio,

@theelous3
This is not a bug!
This was removed because it was a problem, especially for more advanced users. It is now up to the user to view and decide what clearances are needed, and it is from a more experienced users perspective a very, very welcome change. You can read all about it in the change logs provided on GitHub. More experienced users read them regularly as new versions are released.
I'm sure currently you may be having a hard time appreciating this point of view, however one day you will also be a more experienced user, and there is no time like to present to start gaining the knowledge it takes to become one. Read the logs, all of them, learn the knowledge. It's there for you, and its free.

Wow. Excuse me but what kind of absolutely deranged response is that?
Firstly, yes hello, I am the "experienced user" you are referring to, and it's clearly a bug. There is an open issue on the github with other experienced users complaining that our advanced experienced user workflows are not supported. There are a plethora of reasons to manually select the location of specific parts on the print bed. That's maybe too advanced for you though?
Secondly, you obviously don't know what constitutes a bug in software. That's fine - as an incredibly rude forum poster I wouldn't expect you to. This is one, I assure you. Mostly supporting unsupported application behavior such that it is possible but neigh on unusable is a bug. The mere act of announcing in part that you are breaking the software in a release note does not render a bug a non-bug.
Kindly never reply to any of my queries again with your either a) incredible snark or b) beyond naive clueless lack of social graces and printing knowledge. I hope it's the latter and I have you pegged wrong, but either way - I'm good thanks.
