PrusaLInk fails to boot with 3.13.0 and MMU2s 3.0.0.

I upgraded printer to latest firmware 3.13.0 and MMU2s to 3.0.0. PrusaLink is latest 0.7.0, connected via pi zero on motherboard. Before upgrade PrusaLink booted normally. After upgrade it stops at "Prusalink starting". If I disable MMU in settings menu it boots immediately and if after that I enable MMU again it seems to work ok.

Regards,

Peter

Okay, the printer version number got changed and I didn't notice soon enough. I feel like doing a hotfix release for this. We might be able to test the PrusaLink updater for the first time too 😉

Hi, I have the same problem, MK3S+ / MMU2S. After updating to 3.13.0 firmware it behaves exactly as you describe. Good idea to disable the MMU. I took it one step further.

Hi, so I tried to reflash MK3s+, MMU2s with firmware images from official prusa site, I also reflashed image of PrusaLink on the Rpi zero. After boot it is unfortunately the same - printer is stuck on "Starting Prusalink" forever. I still have to disable MMU in settings for Prusalink to boot normally. Does anybody have the same problem? It is annoying 😥

Tnx,

Peter

Hi

This is interesting as i am here for the same reason, my Pi (Zero2W) was working fine (v0.7.0rc3), i upgraded the printer to latest firmware, still ok.  Flashed the Pi to v0.7.0 as it cant update, now it no longer connects to the printer.. will open a separate ticket.

Many Thanks

Even after updating the FW to 3.13.1, the same problem exists. A month ago you promised a fix and it still hasn't been resolved. When can we expect a fix?

It is available here:

https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Link/releases/tag/0.7.1rc1

You need to do fresh install on sd of pi.

We are not doing a "fresh install" eve3rytime a tiny thing is changed, it has an "update" built in , this needs to be used.

Many Thanks

The problem is not with printer firmware as I understand, but Prusalink. Just update to latest version and than it works as it should-link above.

I understand that, but the developer wrote here that it was his fault for not noticing the printer ID change with MMU, but it's been over a month and the fix is nowhere to be found.

RE: PrusaLInk fails to boot with 3.13.0 and MMU2s 3.0.0.

Yea, I fixed it right after I came back from vacation at the end of July. The RC image is out on github, the OTA update is coming most probably next week, if the updater decides to work this time.

I am trying to make PrusaLink a more straightforward thing to code for, I am learning asyncio, not a very shiny thing to do, does not bring features and will break things. But if i succeed, fixing them and coding more should become easier.

So prusalink works with mmu3 if so does it record mmu errors

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models
