Prusa CORE One - unable to connect to PrusaLink despite valid IP address

Good evening,

I'm having a bit of an issue with my Prusa CORE One concerning the PrusaLink functionality: in short, despite an apparently successful network connection via WiFi, with a valid IP being shown both in the printer's menu as well as my router's device list, the web server running on the printer seems not to respond.

Additionally, pinging the printer is unsuccessful.

Yesterday, after completing assembly, it seemed to work fine after turning the WiFi function off and on again, but today this seems not to be the case.

I also tried to set a static IP - again, this shows correctly in my router's device list, but the printer won't respond to a ping even.

What could be the issue?

A follow-up after a chat with support: it seems that the problem is linked to location.

The printer's current location is approx. 5.5 m from the WiFi access point with its back to a wall, but moving it closer and especially rotating it so that the back, and thus the WiFi module, faces the access point seems to enable a more solid connection. Ethernet works very well as well.

Next steps to try are to re-seat the module, and I also proposed to try an 8-pin extension to relocate the module, to e.g. the top of the printer.

Still, the WiFi range would be quite disappointing - has anyone else encountered such a limited range?
