PC loses connection to Printer after failed upload during current print
I've had this happen 5x times so far.
If the printer is in the middle of a print, and I upload the g-code using PrusaSlicer network transfer, it has caused PrusaConnect to loose connection with the printer.
I cannot access PrusaLink via IP address either, and I get a timeout if I ping the IP address.
In order to regain access, I need to power cycle the printer.
Using Pi Zero 2W with 0.6.1.
PrusaSlicer 2.5 on MacOS (however did it with 2.4 as well)
RE:
This is tough, apart from slowing down uploads during prints (i forget if only on singlecore computers), so you don't completely overwhelm the CPU we don't do anything unusual. There is a post on here where people have solved a simmilar issue https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/bugs-errors/err-no-ip/#post-614108 but it's been happening to them even without uploading a file.
I am working on a plastic thingymajig, that might help with it as well, but I'm still just prototyping
Could I maybe ask you for testing if I succeed? It would be a different plastic spacer for the pi with aluminum foil connected to ground as makeshift shielding
RE: PC loses connection to Printer after failed upload during current print
Understood. I do try to avoid uploading while printing but sometimes I am on autopilot and press the upload without thinking.
It doesn't strike me as a CPU overload as the printing doesn't miss a beat, but I have no evidence to the contrary.
Do you know if there is a way to enable logging on the Pi to attempt to capture this issue from the Pi side?
Happy to try your thingymajig when you are ready.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I forgot to mention that the LCD display on the MK3 shows "ERR:192.168.10.153"
