Experiencing this issue as well starting today. Working fine two days ago, upload yesterday of file was really slow, now this morning (PST) it is showing offline in status, but the Telemetry data comes and goes.

Okay, i will notify the team once we're done with formnext. Thank you. Also, did you try the 5.0.1 or even 5.1.0? It should be better on one or both of them, not sure. The timeout should have been increased.

Mine shows as a TLS error or connection refused but was able to be ADDED to connect, now just wont "connect"

There is a bug in the code for esp <-> printer communications on the Alpha2 fw. If you're getting an intermittent tls errors, try connecting to ethernet, alternatively you can always downgrade to the more stable version

Haven't printed in a while, but yesterday I updated to 5.0.1 and installed an ethernet cable in hopes for faster and more stable connections on my MK4. But, its just online for a minute or two and stays that way until reset or restart.
At first, I thought WiFi and Ethernet are problematic if both are "on", but maybe that isn't the case? Is there any way to solve this? Its really annoying, can't even copy anything or start the printer remotely.

For me with the XL at the 5.1.0 firmware level Prusa Connect shows permanently offline. I think this may have started after moving from WiFi to Ethernet but I am not sure, was just printing from the USB drive so it really did not spend a lot of time with the wireless connection. On the bright side, the response time on the Prusa Link directly to the printer seems much better using the wired Ethernet connection though. Prusa Connect does show the correct ip address for the Ethernet connection but tags the printer as offline.
Is there anything that I can do to restore the connection?

Hi, what error does it show under Settings -> Network -> Prusa Connect -> Error? Also, have you tried registering the printer again? Are you from Europe or somewhere further away? Thank you

I ended up doing a factory reset and going through all the calibration stuff again and re-adding it to Connect without enabling the WiFi and now it seems to show up again.
The printer is located in Canada, I wish I was in Europe as it seems more civilized there 😉

Canada seems civilized enough... You just got long distances between any two points, that's all... We are slowly putting out fires when it comes to the server response times and so on, so i hope there still is an improvement to be expected in the future, without us having a server in the us and somehow managing and syncing data on both of them

Same here. Sometimes it’s online for hours, sometimes it’s offline after a few minutes or half an hour. Just seems random. Printer (menu) says something like „access denied“ or „forbidden“ when trying to connect to Prusa Connect? (Have to check when it happens again)
It does try to connect a few times, again and again. Only thing that works is reset to restart the printer.

And yet again, my printer is unable to be connected through the web-interface.
Xl has the latest FW, I just restarted the printer .. and it receives an IP-number real fine ... but first showed OFFLINE in the interface.
After a while it showed ONLINE again ... but dropped files are only copied to the server
(File Transfer to Prusa Connect completed successfully)
.. and status is WAITING about sending it to the printer.
I also tried deleting it from the server and re-adding but no change.
So Prusa Connect does NOT function.

I also tried the Prusa Connect-procedure on the XL:
Settings -> network -> prusa connect -> adding printer to prusa connect
You then get a code which you have to use through prusa.io/add.
This was successfull on the webinterface ... but still the XL kept trying to connect with the server and the display mentioned three attempts to connect and then
