RE: File Transfer Error When Using Prusa Connect
I routinely get this error, as well as files sometimes never quite 'completing'.. so the print makes it to 99%, then errors out, telling me there's an error in the code.
ONLY via Connect. Link and direct USB work fine.
RE: File Transfer Error When Using Prusa Connect
Found this thread while troubleshooting my MK4s (brand new, got it for Christmas) and it was getting stuck forever on 50% upload like many other users have been complaining about, indicating a successful upload to Prusa servers, but unsuccessful transfer from those servers to the printer. For me, the following fix about file names cleared the issue. After clicking 'send to connect' I just deleted a good chunk of the proposed file name and then sent it as normal. It worked flawlessly after that. Hope this helps someone!
The most frustrating thing about this is that those filenames are autogenerated to be too long for transfer. Not only that, but I was actually printing Prusa's own unaltered file straight from Printables! They should consider enforcing a max filename length while looking for more a sensible solution, maybe with a dialogue box offering an automated truncation of the filename?

I have a Prusa XL 5T and i have this issue as well. I found a reddit post about it and two options fixed it, new usb assuming it is bad or renaming the file with less keys. For me there seems to be a character limit the Prusa Connecct will take before it will not send it to your usb. It always seems to transfer to Prusa connect fine but when it tries to send it to the printer (usb) it fails.
RE: File Transfer Error When Using Prusa Connect
I also had transfer errors, but after formatting the USB stick it worked again. The transfer takes a long time, but it's much quicker with Octoprint. Maybe the USB stick is defective, I'll try a different USB stick.
RE: File Transfer Error When Using Prusa Connect
Hi, I had the same problem as every one with the error 400 prusa printer is offline.. or something like that. I think I resolved the problem by connecting the printer in prusa slicer with the prusalink instead of prusaconnect. You need to reset your API key to be abble to do so.
In an other post I readed that you need to go in your ip adress in your browser, reset your API key. Next, comeback in the browser to Prusaconnect, go to settings, you will see that you have now TWO API key. One for prusaconnect and one for Prusalink.... after doing so, you will be able to connect your physical printer in prusaslicer to prusaling insted of prusaconnct.
Hope i'm enough clear to help other peoples.
