Camera shows in prusa link and connect but is unavailable to libcamera

Camera feed works in prusalink and prusaconnect fine but for some reason the image is in BGR instead of RGB. I am trying to adjust the camera settings using libcamera but receive the following error:
[1:01:21.081749030] [1669] INFO Camera camera_manager.cpp:284 libcamera v0.2.0+120-eb00c13d
[1:01:21.122845521] [1672] ERROR RPI pipeline_base.cpp:796 Failed to load a suitable IPA library
[1:01:21.123002667] [1672] ERROR RPI vc4.cpp:215 Failed to register camera imx296 10-001a: -22
Preview window unavailable
ERROR: no cameras available
I have tried killing prusalink using the pid and then retrying libcamera but get the same result.
I am most likely missing something simple here but I've been banging my head against the wall for hours at this point...
TIA
Image of MK3S+ from camera, the blue should be prusa orange 🙂 also never mind the focus.
