Adding multiple printers doesn't work

Hi Everyone,

I'll add more details later, but the problem I'm having is that when I've added a second printer, both seem to get combined (temperature graph shows multiple temps, name of the old printer changes to the new printers name, but IP stays the same.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Best Answer by Levendigs:

The problem was that I accidentally registered both printers under the same serial ID, which caused them to get mixed up in prusa connect.

Only way to change the serial ID was to factory reset the printer. Reflashing the SD of the PI doesn't help, seems like when you've added the serial ID the first time, it's registered in the board. Maybe that's also why for some the 0.6.0 isn't working, the serial ID needs to be linked to the board first. My newer mk3s didn't have this issue, so I think it's because they haven't implemented it for so long (maybe it's since they switched to the SN instead of CZPX format.
