RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Re-flash and printer restart worked for me. Then the wizard did not even ask me for the s/n.
I did have the latest FW flashed. I had also forced factory default reset last month after upgrading to s+.
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Yup, a factory reset erases the S/N from where PrusaLink can get at. Re-flashing (using a Windows machine) fixes that. I went into more detail in other threads/replies and on Discord now too.
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
new 0.6.1 installation and the same problem with error 500 ...
RE:
Yes, the 0.6.1 is a "fixed hotfix" very nice turn of events indeed. 0.7.0 has the fix.
Meanwhile try connecting your printer to a powerbank or a phone charger and hit reset on the printer. Then after it shows the Prusa i3 MK3(s) OK. status, power cycle the printer to restart PrusaLink, please tell me the result as I have not tried it yet on the current fw. It might let you into the wizard after doing that
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
0.7 is released?
tomorrow I can check your solution
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Sorry, no, should have worded that differently
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Working 🙂
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Nice, I'll try remembering that the powerbank workaround actually works. Thanks
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
No, i do this without powerbank.
power on, reset on mainboard, power off and power on.
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
like without the usb connected? That's weird, there has to be some other reason then hmph, glad it works regardless
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Yes, without 🙂
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Have you updated the fw while the rpi was connected by any chance?
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Okay, the last thing i can think of is the SN actually did get written, but the verification of that failed, after reset, it did read fine. Otherwise, ghosts
Also 3.10.2? I don't even know that existed 😀 nice
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
this is from the official beta tester's email 😀
Can I install stable 3.11?
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Jesus, what did I miss, I'm running 3.10.1 just fine. That said I know about 3.11 and yes, do it. Worst case you'll downgrade.
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
ok, i updated the firmware to 3.11, status still shows 3.10 b2 🙂
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Hey, I'd like to clarify it, Forum and Discord are NOT official support channels, those are community channels. The only official way is email/chat (eventually a phone for some cases)
Well... the forum is the "official" way to get support from Prusa Research, so we hold you all to a higher standard than the users in Discord... 😏
We aren't announcing anything 😏 the open beta should have been mostly silent. As you can observe, PrusaLink did not get an update with the open beta, so one is definitely coming. A few weeks is just to underpromise, so we have a chance to overdeliver for once 😀
off topic:
Sad, that image was so well received on Discord, the forum is not having any of this, you guys mean business
RE: 500 Internal Server error after entering S/N
Ok, I am at a roadblock. Flashed 3.11 firmware from my Mac (I do not own or have access to a Windows PC) from an upgraded PrusaSlicer and I am still running into this issue. It's Beta, I get it. But installation issues that have been present for 2 months tells me, IMHO, that this is more in the Alpha stage at the moment. Just the fact flashing is working on Windows and not Mac gives me pause.
I'll pull my PrusaConnect/PrusaLink SD card from my machine and go back to OctoPrint/FarmPi and check back in in another couple of months. I will also start hunting for a Pi 4 to run OctoPrint on my XL when it ships.
