Rotate Buddy3D Camera view in Prusa Slicer app.
On my iPhone I can rotate the camera view in the Prusa app and it's properly displayed. In the Prusa Slicer app, going to the Prusa Connect tab shows me the camera in a different rotation and I want to rotate it 90 degrees. I could swear I used to be able to do that, but I don't see it now. Was it done on initial install (I've moved the camera since then, my mistake), or is it a menu I can't find now. I haven't found it by searching the forum or help areas.
RE: Rotate Buddy3D Camera view in Prusa Slicer app.
I did just find another help area to search and I found that (I think) it was part of the initial install, and perhaps not something I saw later. I see it on the iPhone app, but not in the desktop Slicer camera tab. So I suppose I have to "remove" the camera and reinstall it to make that change. Unless someone knows better. Got a print running now so will wait....
RE: Rotate Buddy3D Camera view in Prusa Slicer app.
I finally found it. At the bottom of the screen on the Camera tab in the Prusa Connect part of Prusa Slicer is a section called Other cameras. Way at the right side of that is a little icon of a screen being rotated. That's where you do it, and that's no doubt what I'd found before even though it's certainly well hidden and doesn't show up in any search utilities I've tried. Anyway, I'll surely remember it now, after all this. Hopefully somebody in need will find this and it will help.

Thanks, this helped me at least.
(It's absolutely extraordinary how badly designed some parts of their printers, manuals and websites are, given the overall reasonably-high level of quality of their stuff. For example, why isn't that icon next to the camera image itself? And what's worse, I had actually looked at the icon and not realised it was for screen rotation - that's probably my bad, but that icon could easily be redesigned to be something more universally recognisable.)
RE: Rotate Buddy3D Camera view in Prusa Slicer app.
I think their design and documentation is amazingly good overall, but it's impossible to make things "obvious" or "intuitive" to everyone. After fooling with that camera image orientation for a while I finally realized that I had the camera installed rotated from the position they intended, with the USB cable routed sideways. I had put mine in going straight down for what I thought was more natural cable routing. Oops. After rotating that the camera aiming is pretty logical. I still think I would have angled it a slight bit differently, but it's pretty much OK as is.
RE: Rotate Buddy3D Camera view in Prusa Slicer app.
I'm frustrated with the poor design and support for the Buddy3D as well. All of there other products are well supported but the cameras stand out. Why is the option under "Other Cameras"? Other than what? I have a single Buddy3D camera, what is the other camera they're mentioning? Does Connect think there are multiple conflicting cameras?
Prusa has gone into another quiet period where dev and bug fixes seem to stop. I hope they are still working on supporting this.
