30GB upload per month
My camera Uploads 30GB per month to prusa connect. Even when the printer is off and I don't have the app/website open. Is that expected?
MK4s with prusa enclosure and Buddy3D camera. The printer is off most of the time and the camera has a separate USB power supply.

You could try to change the picture rate in Prusa slicer e.g. from 10 s to 90 seconds. My understanding is it always keeps fresh pictures ready, connected / running or not.

You could power the printer and the camera both from a power strip with a (smart) switch. This way the camera will be off when the printer is off also and not generate any unnecessary images.

I know there are workarounds but could prusa connect not toggle on the upload when I am actually watching the stream and turn it off after not seeing any clients?
I would be really surprised if this high upload is by design and not a bug. Imagine having thousands of these cameras connected. Must be an expensive waste of resources for them.
