Power Panic MK4 with PSU quick release

Hi, I'm assembling my enclosure and installing my known good MK4 in it. My issue is with the PSU quick release that I purchased from Prusa. On startup I get a power panic. My xBuddy has the two wire power panic and I have connected both wires. On startup I get the red power panic screen. If I bypass with my old power panic cable, no issues. I have examined the cable connections in the harness and nothing appears awry. I haven't tested continuity, which probably the next step but wondering if anyone has seen this issue.

Update, I took out the multimeter and turns out there was a continuity issue between the negative terminal crimp and the panic connector. Snipped, stripped, and inserted into the terminal and it works fine now. maybe too much insulation made it into the crimp.
