Newbie Filament temp question

Hi Guys

Newbie here dialing in his Mini

Everything has been going well so far, i've even managed to print at 0.07mm layer height (see pic)

My testing has been with a non Prusa filament (Anycubic off Amazon), i have done a lot with their grey and all has been good.

Today i used a different colour filament (still Anycubic PLA), this time black, whilst still good i am now getting a little 'stringing', my question is, given the good base setup, how do i dial out the stringing ??

I'm guessing this is a nozzel temperature thing ? but as a newbie i really appreciate help from you experienced printers

Thanks

S

The attached pic is the end of the 'purge line' at the start of the print.

Its likethe filament keeps oozing out ??

Cheers

RE: Newbie Filament temp question

Printing @0.07mm layer height on the Mini, you need to drop the temperature a bit to help reduce stringing. If you're using the default filament profile in Prusaslicer, you could try to drop it to 208C to see if it helps (your pic1).

I've found black to be the most gooey across filament brands, I'm not sure why. You could try to adjusting the temp as well to see if that helps.

There's a theory filaments with dark pigments have different heat absorption, like black surfaces left on sun.
