Mini+ Y Axis Grind ONLY after Probe and Completed Print
Brand new Prusa Mini+ assembled yesterday. Several successful prints completed in PLA, PETG, and ASA. I have made few configuration changes:
- Set and saved z-offset for both Smooth and Textured sheets
- Added a wifi module, upgraded to 4.0.0xRC1, and I am successfully uploading prints via PrusaSlicer connected directly to the printer
- I'm using the stock PrusaSlicer "0.2mm QUALITY" Print settings. I've made no changes to Filament or Printer Settings.
Problem: After the probe is finished generating the mesh AND when a print is complete, the print bed presents forward and grinds, perhaps 15-20 'rotations', quickly. After the probe/grind, the job completes fine with remarkably good print quality.
This does not happen if I home all, it does not happen at the start of the print, Self Test reports success (more than once). Only under the circumstances described above. I would expect to see artifacts on print jobs if this was a general Y-axis belt tension/alignment problem. Neither the print or my visual/audible inspection indicates skipping otherwise. It seems more likely that this is a configuration issue rather than a hardware one, but I'm prepared to be wrong.
Thanks in advance for considering my problem!

In case any one finds this thread in the future and is having a similar problem - the y-axis cable was getting hung up on the buddy board housing.
