Loading first filament and its stuck. (flex)

Just finished initial assembly and was loading flex filament.
It never loaded and I can't get it to unload, What to do next!

Hi Mike,
you don't give us a lot to go on, where is the filament stuck?

What slicer setup were you using, and were you trying to print the First layer calibration print with Flex?

did anything come out of the nozzle?

do you have any descriptive pictures?

What grade of Flex was it?

Joan

I can't see where the filament is stuck -- its not in the gears that I can see --
Filament is just leading up into the extruder but not loading past it to the hotend. This was just to do the initial first layer calibration. So no slicer and didnt make it to the nozzle. It's FilaFlexible40 Black filament 500g... It's stretching when I try to pull it back out on unload but won't come back out.
and is not loading forward at all.

Hi,

I had a similar issue. Everything up and running and then no filament transport. It seemed to got up to the gears (because I pushed it there) but the gears did not transport them. I used the blue filament from the box so I could see it in the tube leading to the gears but not coming out.

So, I talked to the support. All I had to do is to cut it new (45 degree or even a bit more sharp) push it in and give it a bit more pressure when hearing the transport gears.

What I found out for myself: You might need to "unload" the filament.  That does not do anything in your situation because the gears can't pull something back what that don't have in their "teeth". But by doing that, the Mini knows that the state is unloaded. And than try again. "Load" and "Unload" is below menu point "filament".

Hope, it helps,

Andreas.

Thank you Andreas.

I have been doing unload and load repeatedly, unfortunately, I'm not getting movement in either direction.
