Live Z height

After updating my firm ware, i had trouble getting it all to calibrate again. i finally got it to calibrate but when i adjust my Live Z height. it is only at 0.345. is this an indication that something is wrong?

RE: Live Z height

ok so I tried printing an object, in this case, a baby Yoda for my daughter.

The sensor hit the print and cased it to crash. I stopped the print and raised the sensor a fraction. I then re-calibrated and the nozel hit the bed at the first corner of the process.

I moved the sensor back as described in the manual. allowing the thickness of a wire tie between the sensor and the bed. caliberation is fine but the z value is back at about -.350.

The Prusa logo, form the SD card, prints fine.

RE: Live Z height

Maybe your sensor is not tight? It should be above the nozzle so there is no reason it should crash on the print.

If the clamp isn't tight enough, maybe the sensor is slipping during the print and sliding beneath the nozzle.
