Issues with mounting the LCD (step 20)
Hey all!
I just got my Prusa Mini+ pre-assembled kit, and I'm excited to get started.
sadly, I'm having issues with the lease problematic step of the guide - mounting the LCD screen, step 20.
Without the screen, the M3x12 screw goes into place without issues.
With the screen, it seems like there just isn't enough space to screw it and it doesn't attach the screen at all, it simply screws in on null and doesn't fit into place.
I think the LCD cover print may be defected, as the M3x12 screw doesn't sit all the way through the print.
RE: Issues with mounting the LCD (step 20)
I think you need an M3-16 or 20 screw for the display.

⬢New version: The LCD cover has a hexagonal protrusion on the side. Please, prepare and use the M3x20 screw.

m3x20 was too long when I tried it. I ended up using an m3x16

Thank you for your answers!
It seems like the m3x20 is too large and the m3x14 is too short.
Luckily, the spare parts bag contains a m3x16 and some bolts used to adapt it to the proper length and it is now in place!
Have a great weekend 🙂
