Help Printer issues
Please help me figure out what changed. I have a prusa mini printing PETG I don’t lay but these lines appeared on the sides. Seen several Z wobble videos and suggestions but can’t seem to find why my parts are different. I was printing a prusa mini base and it worked flawlessly. Then all the sudden my parts look like an ender printer and they have awful layer lines and stings and it just looks so bad. I don’t know what happened. I tried cleaning everything, adjusted all the screws did a maintenance check followed the prusa mini website for main fence for my mini checked every setting. The first layer works fine actually perfect each time never an issue worh first layers only with after that. The calibration cube was printed several times adjusting settings but it looks the same which makes me think moist filament or filament type issue. Now trying a temperature test to see if I can get better results.

I think I figured it out!? The temp difference seems to be all I need! Hmm let me try the cube again and see

I’ve also tried speed and input shaper vs no input shaper….amd weirdly enough input shaper and faster prints have slurpy better effects.
RE:
Dry your filament for few hours and try again (recommended 60-70C for 8h)
Top photo - printed test model is horribly stringy, but otherwise it looks ok.
Middle photo - hardly to tell if anything wrong, maybe a bit of ringing on the edges and some typical artifacts on smooth surface due to Input Shaper.
Bottom photo - the calibration cube looks good except the each layer to be full of little blobs.
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Right the blobs is the issue! The middle photo was last week everything worked flawlessly …now everything prints like the cube with blobs and I don’t know why.

It was in fact a simple temperate change! I tried all the settings and every trick but all I needed was to lower the temperature! It seems prusa filament prints a bit hotter than other PETG! Hope this helps someone in the future
