But btw, the y axis sounds horrible.. Sounds like the sensorless homing would also not work properly.

What was the issue, since the topic of the video has (solved) in it...

Mini with FW:4.4.1 + SuperPINDA + Bondtech Heatbreak + PC4-M8 couplers + 1 piece boden

Wizard bug on self test use the Sheet and the self check will be passed

Maybe it would not hurt if it reminds about it on display, if it does not do tgat already.

No, it's not a bug, but can be frustrating nonetheless. If reminder of putting steel sheet to bed makes even just a few customers less frustrated, it may be worth putting it on screen or in manual.

I had a look at the assemble instructions and Step 34 seems pretty clear. Also Step 35 shows the plate in place and notes "Place the PEI MINI sheet on the heatbed. Double-check it is oriented correctly."

That's fine when you are building and doing the very first calibration, but it needs to be clear, on-screen, from then onwards.
