Filament stuck before extruder PTFE Tube.
I loaded the filament and gave a slight push to make sure the extruder took the filament in. The filament partially looked like it was going through the hotend PTFE tube, but then it jammed and made a horrific noise. I proceeded to unload the filament and it made a similar sound but was able to retract. However, I can’t pull out the filament. There’s no visible filament in the driver gears so it seems as if the filament is stuck somewhere just before the gears?

It looks like the plastic has surrounnded the whole circumference of the teeth of the extruder. If you can reach it with some long nose pliers you can take it apart like this and then clean the teeth with the needle that was supplied with the printer. Otherwise you can disassemble your extruder and reveal the extruder gears.
After cleaning be sure to untighten the tension screw and then try to screw it little by little to find the sweet spot that grasps your filament correctly. At the moment your tension screw must be very tight and thus created this issue.
RE: Filament stuck before extruder PTFE Tube.
found the issue. Seems to be a complete blockage jam. How do I go about this? Will I need to disassemble the extruder and how?
