Filament jammed inside Extruder-Rear (next to pulley)

Hey there guys.

Tonight I went to unload some 3DFillies PLA+ Filament from my Mini+ and noticed that whilst it reversed successfully down into the extruder, I was unable to pull it out further. Checking the inspection door, it looked mostly clear with the slightest thin tip of PLA showing.

I then followed the instructions from here https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-access-and-clean-the-extruder-pulley-mini-mini_126457 to disassemble the extruder and discovered that the filament has jammed in the last hole it needs to clear in part extruder-rear right next to the pulley.

I am guessing the filament must have blobbed up and wedged into the hole. To make matters even more interesting, it has now snapped off at the other end of the feed-in ptfe tube... so no grip that direction either.

Any advice? I can't seem to remove the pulley to get better access to the little jammed hole.

I'll get some photos up here to better show what I am raving on about.

And I managed to sort it before my post even passed moderation.

Essentially, I didn't understand correctly how the pulley/gear was assembled. Once I realized it could be separated from the bearing, I pushed it out from behind with an Allen key. With the gear out of the way, I had complete access to the PLA.

And yeah, that one was doomed from the start.

Anyway, figured I would leave this here in case someone from the future is googling and it helps.
