Error code 12208 is a "Mintemp error" -- the hotend is measured to be below 15°C. One possible reason is that the printer simply sits in a room which is too cold. It is recommended to move it to a warmer room, because the print quality may suffer when the environment is too cold. As a workaround, you can use a hairdryer to warm up the extruder a bit before you start the printer (and start pre-heating) -- it will not take much to get above 15°C..

If a cold room is not the cause, the thermistor or its connection to the main board are probably bad. Which specific parts have you replaced already?
